Vuju.Me respects intellectual property rights and expects users of Vuju.Me to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to valid takedown notices.
2. What We Can Remove
Vuju.Me is a link shortening service — we do not host the destination content. However, we can and will disable shortened links that point to content that infringes on your copyright.
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid DMCA takedown request, you must provide the following in writing via our contact page:
Your full legal name and contact information (email, phone, address)
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
The specific Vuju.Me shortened URL(s) pointing to the infringing content
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Your physical or electronic signature
Incomplete notices will not be processed.
4. What Happens After a Notice is Filed
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice we will:
Disable the reported shortened link promptly
Notify the user who created the link where possible
Document the takedown for our records
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe your link was disabled as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA claim, you may submit a counter-notice via our contact page including:
Your full legal name and contact information
Identification of the disabled link and its location before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district
Your physical or electronic signature
6. Repeat Infringers
Vuju.Me maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
